Teen Challenge Newport uses the National Teen Challenge Charity Number for funding and awareness. We are a local committee passionate about the issues that face Newport and the surrounding areas. All the operations that workers and volunteers are engaged in is very much accountable to team leaders, and project directors, and committee. Teen Challenge Newport is accountable to Teen Challenge UK also.

The commitee at Newport meet every 4 - 6 weeks with the project director to discuss on going projects, finances, directions, staff and volunteer issues, and day to day operations. The committee is made up of a variety of people from professionals, clergy, business people, and indivduals. Below is a list of current members of the board.

Mr Martyn Sheppard

Local businessman, who is passionate and dedicated to charities and organisations in the Newport area. Martyn also supports other organisations abroad.

Mrs Ginny Gouch

Elder in Underwood Baptist Church and has been involved in probation and housing for about 10 years.

Mr Grant Davis

A Member of teen challenge Newport for the past 20 years and longest serving committee member, He is married with 1 child and 2 grandchildren grant attends king church Newport.

Mr Mitchel McEwan

Mrs Caroline Johnson

Member of teen challenge Newport for over 19 years Caroline is now the Co-ordinator of  Teen Challenge Newport has been for the past 10 years, this has been a full time position for the past 2 years. Caroline is responsible for over-seeing all new and existing projects she is mainly based in the office however does get hands on involved with all new projects, she is married with 3 boys and attends Abundant Life Church, Newport.

Mr Stuart Johnson

Member of  Teen Challenge Newport for over 15 years, has been involved in business and now is the Co-ordinator of the Newport Night Shelter project also a regular bus driver and co-ordinator of the bus ministry, married with 3 boys and attends Abundant Life Church, Newport.
