Volunteer your time

As you know Teen Challenge Newport, would not exist without people.

The volunteers, who serve, listen, encourage, share with people they meet is key to the many charities, organisations like ours - we are always amazed at what they do.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation and we are committed to delivering high quality support and training to all our volunteers. Whilst the initial training provides the volunteer with an insight into the work carried out by the organisation ongoing training gives the volunteer confidence to support the clients they meet. Within the training programme we pay specific attention to Child Protection, when volunteers are working with children and young people, confidentiality, First Aid, and dealing with aggression and health & safety. We hold regular volunteers meetings with supervision sessions for all volunteers. We also enjoy meeting together at social events through the year. If you would like to get involved contact us.

Pray

We need and covet your prayers on a daily basis for our students, staff and regular ministry needs. As a prayer partner, you will receive a special monthly letter that details specific prayer requests. There is no cost or obligation and your prayers are a great encouragement. Donate food, materials

Our weekly food outreaches, takes a lot of resources and food - ideally we would would also like to give out small parcels of food from time to time which helps those living on the street, or on low income. At Teen Challenge Newport, we go through many vegetables, potatoes, soups, bread, etc - if you or your business, church, organisation would like to give or get involved. Please contact us.

Financial gift
